New to FLC?

Welcome! We are glad you are interested in finding out more about the life of the church. Take a quick look to see how you or your family can connect with God and others at First Lutheran.

What do we offer you and your family?

We have many opportunities to worship, learn, serve and connect!

  • Worship is central to our life together, and we have five distinct worship experiences with inspiring messages and great music. Learn more.
  • Lifelong learning and experiencing God's presence in multiple ways is essential for children, youth and adults. People of all ages are valued as children of God. Learn more.
  • Serving in the church and community helps us to grow spiritually and we all have gifts to offer. Learn more.
  • We connect through classes, groups and events to deepen our relationships with one another and to create new friendships. Go to grow!

What do we believe?

We are a Christian church with a Lutheran tradition. We are a safe place to discuss diverse ideas. Learn more.

I'm not a member ... can I participate in the ministries and activities of the church?

Yes! All are welcome to take part in any ministry or activity.

I want to be a member ... how do I join?

We typically have 3-4 New Beginnings classes each year. Pastor Charlie teaches the class. Although the class is not mandatory to join, it is strongly suggested so you can connect with the congregation more easily. Learn more.

Want to speak with a pastor? Another staff member?

Senior Pastor Charlie Zimmerman and Pastor Jay Hilbinger are available to speak with you. Please call 292-9125 or email them. Also, see list of FLC staff.
