I came to work at First Lutheran in 1989 as the part-time bookkeeper. Little did I know where this simple job would lead! At my first performance review, I remember telling Pastor Charlie, "I just love to work with money!" to which he responded, "Well, we all have our gifts."  When one of our secretaries retired in 1991, I was asked to take over the membership records, and when the Administrator retired in 1996, I took over his responsibilities.  A very active Property Committee and our Building Caretakers make this possible, as my first love is still all things financial.  My husband David and I live in Greensboro not far from the church, and we have two married sons and 3 granddaughters.  I sing in the Fellowship Choir and enjoy reading, travelling and yoga.
