Take a look at this short video to see how your some of your contributions to First Lutheran are used to help people through ministries in the NC Synod and through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The purpose of the Stewardship Team is to deepen and expand a sense of gratitude and response to God's love and blessings to that all who attend First Lutheran Church will the hope and expectation that we will grow from giving our time, talent and treasure while exploring and discerning our God-given purpose.
The team's main goals are to design and offer the annual Mission & Ministry Appeal, provide year-round stewardship education, provide and distribute information about the Get Connected forms, provide offering envelopes, and provide online giving.
Contributions to the Appeal support inspiring worship, faith formation, community needs, property concerns, staff and many other ministries. Also, the Green Team, which relates to Stewardship works on environmental projects, particularly recycling styrofoam, batteries, cell phones, glasses and hearing aids.
Please complete a Get Connected form (fill it out online, print, and return to Janice Eberenz) and tell us in which areas you would like to serve. You are welcome to check as many areas as you like but please try to focus on those for which you feel most passionate. All of us have gifts that can be used to serve locally and globally. If you have questions about the form, please contact Frank Moore, 292-9125, email@example.com. Want to learn more about all the ministry opportunities at First Lutheran? The "Unwrapping Your Gifts" booklet has information about all the ministries at First Lutheran and the ministries First Lutheran participates in in the community and around the globe!

Simply Giving is an automatic means to pay your pledge monthly by bank draft. This program has been available for several years, is extremely reliable, safe and popular because of the convenience it provides. Users like it because they know how much is drafted from their account each month, and they don’t have to remember to bring their envelope to church on Sunday. Simply Giving is a great benefit to the church as it helps to smooth out our monthly cash flow, and we would encourage you to consider this as a way to make your pledge. If interested, stop by the office and see Janice Eberenz to get a form. It’s easy to set up.
